Sensitivity vs allergy
The term sensitivity refers to a reaction triggered by the body’s digestive system. However, the meaning of an allergy is quite different. Simply Sensitivity Checks provide sensitivity tests but not allergy tests.
Whilst a sensitivity may cause irritable, uncomfortable or often embarrassing symptoms, an allergy is much more serious and involves a body’s immune response that can in some extreme cases be life threatening.
It is important to note that our tests cannot identify allergies and we always recommend seeking medical advice if your symptoms are severe.
